Creating a Django specific search vertical--which is to say, creating Findjango--was the idea I had in mind when I began work on django-springsteen, and I'm glad to reveal this initial iteration.

There is a tremendous amount of work to be done to add more content sources, tune relevancy, and generally improve on everything here, and I'm excited to hear your suggestions as well.

The initial design was my own, but the new and much improved design is by Kevin Fricovsky.

Also, Josh Gourneau created a MyCroft plugin for using Findjango from the in-browser search box in Firefox and Internet Explorer. This strikes me as very cool. I wish I had something similar for Safari.
